CARLSTADT, N.J. -- Ruth A. Giannella, of Carlstadt, died Nov. 8. She was 89.
Giannella was a crossing guard in the borough of Carlstadt for five years. Prior to that, she worked for Hoover Ball and Bearing Co. in Wayne for more than 20 years. She loved old movies, the ocean and wine.
Giannella is survived by her children Barbara Ann Kronyak and her husband Matthew, Edward A. Giannella, Donald A. Giannella and his companion, Helen Cohen; grandchildren: Kim Kronyak-Edone and her fiancé Karl Rolff, Chris Kronyak, Michael Giannella; and great-grandchildren Matthew Edone, Jessica Kronyak, Dylan Kronyak and Amanda Kronyak.
She was predeceased by her daughter-in-law RoseAnn Giannella.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Kimak Funeral Home, 425 Broad St., Carlstadt. Cremation will be private. Visitation is from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
