Officers Scott Tronziger and William Pangaro responded to the area of Washington Avenue and Moonachie Avenue on the report of an unruly passenger aboard the #161 bus just after 4 p.m. yesterday, Police Chief Thomas Nielsen said.

The driver, who’d pulled the bus over at the intersection, identified 27-year-old Rocky Minotti, Nielsen said.

The officers discovered the warrant and the drugs after escorting him off the bus, the chief said.

“He also appeared to be under the influence [of drugs],” he said.

Police issued two summonses to Minotti, answerable in Municipal Court on Sept. 8, for having the drug without a prescription and being under the influence of it.

An ambulance took him to Bergen Regional Medical Center in Paramus for observation.
