Mullahey and Goldsack ran for Council for the first time in 2015.

Mullahey holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Caldwell University and a Master's Degree Administration and Supervision from St. Peter's University. He is also the Athletic Director at Clifton High School.

Mullahey and his wife, Maria, are the proud parents of Angelica, 5, and Lauren, 3.

"I ran for Council last year for the same reason I am running this year-- to provide effective leadership and open and respectful communication between our elected officials and the residents," Mullahey said in a statement. Effective leadership can only happen with open communication. Without it, decisions are made for the select few and not the common good. That needs to change.”

Goldsack is a graduate of Seton Hall University and New York Law School. He currently serves as the Associate General Counsel of the New Jersey General Assembly/Majority Office.

He is married to Kerry Schmeding Goldsack and father of two year old, Mark. The Goldsacks’ second child, a girl, is expected in June.

“Government, even local government, is complicated. We can’t afford to have anything less than representatives who are committed and prepared to make decisions in the right way and for the right reasons," Goldsack said in a statement. Whether it's who's being hired or the everyday business of the borough, errors erode the public trust and waste hard-earned tax dollars. We can do better.”

The Primary Election Day is Tuesday, June 7 and the General Election is Tuesday, Nov. 8.
