Carlstadt Students Jump Rope For Charity

CARLSTADT, N.J. — Carlstadt Public School is participating in "Jump Rope For Heart" to help raise money for the American Heart Association.

On Feb. 11 and 12, students will jump rope in gym class to help learn about heart health. 

Students will be taught the importance of being active for 60 minutes everyday, the dangers of tobacco, sodium, and sugary, drinks, and the benefits of colorful foods.

The school will also collect donations from students, parents, and faculty to be donated to the American Heart Association.

Last year, Carlstadt Public School raised $1,986. This year the goal is $2,500.
