An Atlantic County man was charged after police found him with explosives, guns, and a large amount of prescription pills, authorities said.
Michael James, 30, of Somers Point, was ordered on Friday, Mar. 8 to be detailed in the Atlantic County Justice Facility on several gun and drug charges, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said in a news release. He was arrested at his home on Colwick Drive on Tuesday, Feb. 27.

Deer Park Man Sold Fentanyl-Laced Pills To Undercover Cop, Jury Finds
A Long Island man was convicted by a jury of his peers for selling pills laced with fentanyl at an LIRR train station.
Anthony Alexander, age 57, of Deer Park, was found guilty Thursday, March 30, of selling the opioid-laced pills under the guise that they were oxycodone, the Suffolk County DA said.
Alexander sold what he said were oxycodone pills to an undercover investigator two times in January 2022. Subsequent testing of the pills sold to the investigator revealed that they were fentanyl, not oxycodone.

Police investigators in Haverstraw are attempting to locate Kimberly Schultz, who was arrested following a traffic stop on I-87 in New Paltz and charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

A 44-year-old man was arrested on numerous drug and traffic charges after being stopped by state police.
Ulster County resident Eric Tischler, of the Town of Ulster, was arrested on Wednesday, Dec. 16, after being stopped in his 2003 Audi A4 by state police for a traffic violation, said Trooper Steven Nevel.
During the stop, the trooper found that Tischler was driving on a suspended license and that he was allegedly in possession of numerous drugs, including cocaine, Alprazolam, and Lorazepam, and concentrated cannabis contained in a vaporizer cartridge.

A convicted felon and a second woman were busted by New York State Police troopers with fentanyl, prescription pills, other drugs and an illegal weapon in the Hudson Valley.
Troopers stopped Newburgh resident Roy Brown, 59, on Route 17K in Newburgh on Wednesday, Aug. 12, when he committed a traffic violation, police said.

Man, 20, Busted For Operating Drug Factory In Greenwich
A Greenwich man was busted on numerous drug violations after police pulled him over for a broken taillight and found hundreds of prescription pills and other drugs, according to the Greenwich Police Department.
Frank Antony Futie, 20, was charged Wednesday during the stop on Sheephill Road with operation of a drug factory, possession of a controlled substance, and distribution of illegal drugs, after officers found more than 500 Alprazolam pills, a bag of cocaine, pot, THC, and packaging materials, said Lt. John Slusarz.
He is being held on $5,000 bail with a court date of March 7.
